Mother’s Day

Our sunflowers lasted for a couple of weeks.  However, Mr. B doesn’t have a green thumb.  I couldn’t send home a cup of dirt for Mother’s Day.  So, I bought some Marigolds, Zinias, and Snapdragons for the kids to choose from.  Each of our students got to choose the flower they wanted to give their moms for Mother’s Day.

In the picture above, our children are working on writing their numbers with correct formation and touching the lines.  Our little jellbeans have come a long way since the beginning of the year.

I hope everyone had a pleasant Mother’s Day.

For Our Parents – Small Business Promotion

This is a new information page for our parents.

After getting to know our parents, I found that many of you have local and / or home-based businesses and services.  Since we have grown as a family throughout the year, I thought I would assist your established or start-up businesses and services by listing them here.  We can help each other grow by word of mouth.

Please let Mr. B know if you have a business or service that you would like to present to our parents on our site.

Click on the upper-right menu button labeled “Parent Businesses” to see our list.  Check frequently, because new additions will not be emailed to you.

Thanks,

Mr. Branstetter

New Time – Kinder Promotion

Hi Parents,

I moved up the time for our kinder promotion to 10:30 a.m. to leave enough time to clean up for Mrs. Berghaus’ class.

Kindergarten Promotion

I can’t believe it’s already that time.  Only a few more weeks of school left.  Our last day of school will be May 25, 2012.  It has been a pleasure working with your children.  I hope that you are happy with the education they received this year.

All family relatives are invited to the ceremony (Seating – First Come, First Serve).

Please assist in signing up for refreshments.

Also, I could use your assistance in paying for the graduation caps – $2 per student.  Thanks

Egg Cartons Needed

Hi Parents,

Mrs. Berghaus and Mr. Branstetter are making some monarch butterflies.  We could use your help in collecting cardboard-material egg cartons for our project (no styrofoam please) – because we are going to paint them with tempura paint.  If you can help, please bring some in before next Tuesday.

Thanks for Your Assistance,

Hugh
