Homework:
- Please review all reading list words below with your child. Placing them on index cards is a great idea for testing your children. Your child will be tested on this week’s words on Friday
- Phonics worksheet p. 83 “Short Vowel A” – Look at the picture. Circle the word that will finish the sentence. Print it on the line.
- Phonics worksheet p. 84 “Short Vowel A” – Say the name of each picture. Print the letter for its beginning sound. Then print the letter for its ending sound. Trace the whole word.
- Math worksheet 6-1 pg. 93-94 “Stories About Joining” – Directions are on the bottom of the worksheet.
- Math worksheet 6-2 pg. 95-96 “More Joining” – Directions are on the bottom of the worksheet.
- Read to or with your child 15 minutes each day. Point to the words as you read. Your child will start to recognize the words that show up more than once on the page. Also make sure that the reading selection is at the kindergarten or first grade level.
- www.KinderRoom.com – Please read the “do, like” ebook with your child. Also read any other books that you feel require review. Thanks!
